Introduction

Welcome to the Payroll help section for Self Manager. With Self Manager, you are able to comprehensively manage paying your employees, withholding the correct amount for taxation, pay out allowances and superannuation and much more.

The Payroll feature can be made available to managers who employ their own support workers, and can also be made available to managers who are plan-managed by Manage It. Enabling the Payroll feature will incur an additional fee on your account.

We understand that payroll can be quite intimidating, and so we have developed a easy-to-use interface that streamlines and simplifies payroll and takes out a lot of the guess-work. However, there are a number of concepts of payroll that require more detail. You will be able to find these concepts in the menu on the left of this page.

Note: Although Self Manager has a number of built-in safeguards and provides a great deal of assistance to help you process payroll correctly, you should always consult an accountant for advice on your payroll obligations, especially for employees with allowances or those who claim offsets and deductions.
